But there are 3 issues that stop that from happening:
1. It’s not like you can just go up to someone you just met and say let’s date. It takes time to find out true compatibility that will last and its hard
2. “Just date one another” is really shitty advice because more often than not people want real, strong, lasting relationships and words like “boyfriend” or “girlfriend” are just society labels. If real dating was calling each other by those labels it wouldn’t be so hard. If I dated the first person who was willing to date me i prob would have killed myself and I’d also be stressed cause a lot of ppl inquire about my relationship status
3. Idk if you’ve ever been in an online relationship but it is really fucking tough with loved ones (this is the most important point). You can’t be with them whenever , you can’t hold them whenever, I know people who haven’t even been able to HEAR each other and they’re in love. Online relationships are so intimidating to a LOT of people because they need to work harder if they want it to last and a lot of people are scared of doing that, which is totally understandable like woah I knew a couple who dated online for like 6 years but recently broke up because they would never meetAlso ppl can and will complain about anything they want (like you’re doing now) so isn’t it kind of ironic what you’re doing
